Glencoe's Independence Day Celebration

Glencoe's Independence Day celebration features two days of fun! The celebration kicks off July 3 with a Party in the Park and fireworks. The festivities continue on July 4 with the Fun Run, Kids Red White and Blue Party, Bags Tournament, and the Village Parade. View a map of all activities, including parking, here. Please note that Glencoe Beach will be closed on July 3 to safely prepare for the fireworks show. It will be open on Saturday, July 4. Entrance on July 4 is limited to season pass holders and their guests. 


Friday, July 3

Glencoe Beach (Closed All Day): Glencoe Beach will be closed to safely prepare for the fireworks show.

Party in the Park (5-10 PM, Friday, July 3, Lakefront Park): We're kicking off the holiday celebration with a Party in the Park! Join us for kids' games from 5 to 8 PM. Hungry? Thirsty? Our food trucks and beer sales will be open from 5 to 9 PM, with everything from finger foods to fancy foods. Plus, enjoy live music and dancing with the Yatch Rockettes starting at 6:45 PM! The fun ends with Glencoe's dazzling fireworks spectacular with a viewing from Lakefront Park. Please note onsite parking is not available unless you have an ADA placard. Municipal lots are available on Old Green Bay Road and Park Avenue (view map). Please observe all posted signs. More

Fireworks (Start at approximately 9 PM, Friday, July 3, Lakefront Park): A dazzling fireworks display will cap off the Party in the Park. More


Saturday, July 4

Fun Run (8 AM, Saturday, July 4, Glencoe Train Station): Start the holiday with a run through Glencoe! The race is free, but advanced registration is encouraged. This race is for ages 7 and up. Register

Kids Red, White & Blue Party (9:30-11:30 AM, Friday, July 4, Kalk Park): Little ones can bounce their way through inflatables, enjoy interactive games, and be entertained by a children's performer, all leading up to a special character appearance by everyone's favorite blue pup! Wear your red, white, and blue and join us for an energetic morning full of movement, laughter, and patriotic fun for young families. More

Bags Tournament (11 AM-1 PM, Saturday, July 4, Kalk Park): Register your team of two and let the games begin! Only one registration is needed for each team to participate. Dress in your finest patriotic attire and compete for the title of Glencoe's best. This free event is one you don't want to miss! Register

Village Parade (1 PM, Saturday, July 4, Downtown Glencoe): Glencoe's annual Independence Day Parade steps off at 1 PM.  For full parade details, visit the Village's website.

Glencoe Beach (Open 10 AM-8 PM, Saturday, July 4): Admission is open only to season passholders and their guests.
