Monday marks the kick-off of several major projects, including the Retaining Wall and Ramp Repairs at Glencoe Beach, Lakefront Park Tennis and Playground renovation, and Watts Center renovation.

Bluff Stabilization and Ramp Repairs
With help from the State of Illinois Boat Access Area Development (BAAD) and Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) grants, the Village of Glencoe and the Glencoe Park District will embark on a comprehensive improvement project to repair the ramp and improve bluff stabilization measures.

At the July 19, 2022 Park Board meeting, Commissioners approved design options for the Lakefront Park Racquet Courts and Playground renovation.

New Pier Coming Soon
The Glencoe Park District Board of Commissioners has approved repairs to the pier at Glencoe Beach. The pier will be closed until Memorial Day weekend while work takes place.

Where to Purchase Season Passes
During the beach season, season passes may be purchased at Glencoe Beach during normal operating hours. You can also visit the Takiff Center or click here to purchase a season pass online. Northbrook residents must purchase in person to receive resident rates. There is no cap on the number of available season passes. Beach passes are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Season Pass Holder Perks
Only season pass holders may visit Glencoe Beach on weekends (Saturday-Sunday), holidays (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day), and before 12 PM on weekdays (Monday-Friday). Season pass holders also get exclusive access to special events.
Age 65+ Passes
Season passes are FREE to Glencoe seniors over age 65; Northbrook senior residents must purchase a pass. Proof of age 65 or older must be presented at the Takiff Center or Glencoe Beach. If you have previously provided proof of age, you may register online for your free season pass.
Guest passes
Season pass holders may purchase a 10-visit or 20-visit guest pass, which expires at the end of the season. Guests must be accompanied by a season pass holder.
Residency Requirement
An individual must reside within the Glencoe Park District or Northbrook Park District boundaries to receive a discounted price. Proof of residency will be required for all new pass holders.
Glencoe-Northbrook Reciprocal Agreement
Glencoe Park District is pleased to offer a reciprocal agreement for dog park and aquatic services with the Northbrook Park District:
- Glencoe Park District residents providing proof of residency (valid Illinois identification card with Glencoe address) will receive Northbrook Park District resident rates on Northbrook Dog Park and Summer Pool Passes at Northbrook Sports Center and Meadowhill Aquatic Center in Northbrook, as well as member rates on any aquatics lessons, water fitness classes, programs and/or classes (with purchase of season pass). Passes may be purchased at any Northbrook Park District registration office or at nbparks.org
- Northbrook Park District residents providing proof of residency (valid Illinois identification card with Northbrook address) will receive Glencoe Park District resident rates on Glencoe Beach season passes and guest passes. Northbrook residents do not receive resident rates on daily admission fees. Northbrook seniors must purchase a pass at the individual resident rate. If you have a Glencoe Park District account, your season pass may be renewed online; if not, you will need to provide proof of residency and purchase your pass in-person at the Takiff Center or Glencoe Beach (during the beach season). There is no cap on the number of available season passes.
Daily Admission
Daily admission is available on weekdays after 12 PM during the beach season. Daily admission tickets can be purchased at the beach. Daily admission may not be purchased before 12 PM on weekdays (Monday-Friday), on weekends (Saturday-Sunday), or on holidays (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day). Daily admission is $12 per person for Glencoe residents and $24 per person for all others. Children under age 3 are free.
Daily admissions are non-refundable and non-transferable.
